Hey, my name is Josefina

Brooklyn-born photographer with a deep love for storytelling, a slight obsession with coffee, and a passion for capturing the moments that make life feel meaningful.

My journey with photography started at 14, from my first camcorder to Polaroids and disposable cameras. I’ve always been drawn to freezing moments in time and holding onto memories you can physically feel.

Raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn by a Dominican mother and Puerto Rican father, I grew up surrounded by culture, creativity, and community. Those roots, along with early experiences in videography through a nonprofit, shaped the way I see and document the world today.

Photography became my passion after capturing my first engagement session and later deepened even more after becoming a mom. It’s shown me just how quickly time moves, and how important it is to preserve the moments we never want to forget.

To me, photography is legacy, love, and connection a way of telling stories without words.
